He felt strongly that his church needed to hear and understand the importance of God’s faithfulness to His people. CUFI Utah State Director Pastor Craig hosted a Why Israel presentation for their community in Sandy UT. About seventy attendees represented five area churches and gave a warm response to CUFI’s message of how and why Christian are standing with Israel. Pastor Fernando Calaguas of Nations for Christ church in Clearfield UT hosted the city’s first CUFI event. Pastors of two other churches were among the three dozen attendees considering CUFI’s message of the Biblical mandate to stand with Israel. The message was well received and visibly impacted the pastors and attendees emotionally.

This event was held at a Native Hawaiian Congregation, Reflame Ministries International. It was attended by different ethnic Christian groups and Asian community leaders. Many were challenged to support Israel and pray for the protection of the Jewish people.
