October 2 – Night to Honor Israel – Brooklyn Park, MN
This was the 9th Africa NTHI hosted by Dr. Francis Tabla and it was my first time to attend it in person. The goal of the event was successfully met: the Jewish community and the Christian community came together to celebrate the work God is doing among them. Special offering was raised for the Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish federation.
This event was also a very education event for those people who have never attended NTHI. Local pastors from the community encouraged and brought their church members. CUFI on Campus sent three students to help table CUFI materials in the church lobby. I was able to represent CUFI. I talked about the mission of CUFI, the different projects we are working on and the importance of combatting antisemitism in local communities and beyond.
