May 7 – Why Israel – Hickory, NC
Small number of attendees due to some other circumstances at the church, but we were able to redeem the moment. Evan Terry was able to have a conversation with a professor at the local college with hopes of some connections being made through this conversation. The Senior Pastor of the church knew of CUFI but was still “on the fence” regarding our presentation and affiliation. I was able to give the Why Israel presentation to the group, instilling confidence in our presentation and approach (being non-partisan, etc.). The senior pastor was interested in connecting us with his ministry network, which was not an option before the meeting.
