July 29 Somerton, AZ Spanish Standing with Israel
For the first time ever in our 12-year CUFI history, our National Hispanic Outreach held a Spanish Standing With Israel event in Somerton, Arizona on Sunday, July 29th. This historic event was co-hosted by Pastors Marcos and Queta Flores of Iglesia Monte Sinai, which is part of the Assemblies of God Southwest District. The event was primarily due in part to the great leadership of our CUFI Arizona Hispanic Outreach State Director, Rev. Emilio De La Cruz, and our West Phoenix Hispanic Outreach City Director, Rev. Lorenzo Martinez, who both respectively serve as Superintendent and Secretary-Treasurer for the AG Southwest District. As a result of this event, many congregants of Iglesia Monte Sinai caught and received the pro-Israel vision and message shared by our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus. Consequently, many of them became CUFI members and also followed the lead of their Pastors, their Executive Church Board, and their major contributors in sowing an extremely generous financial seed to directly bless the nation of Israel through CUFI. Without a doubt, this historic event was epically extraordinary!
