Israel’s ‘Captain Ella,’ highest-ranking Muslim officer, named IDF’s newest Arabic spokeswoman
Maj. Ella Waweya, widely known as “Captain Ella,” will be appointed as the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, replacing Col. Avichay Adraee, the military announced on Tuesday.
