Feb. 20th Oxford, FL Spanish Why Israel Event
On Wednesday, February 20th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted our first-ever Spanish-speaking Why Israel event in Oxford, Florida. This epic seed-event was hosted by Pastors Samuel and Omaida Olavarria of Iglesia Gosen Pentecostal, who both hail from the island of Puerto Rico. What made this historic event extra special was that it was additionally attended by other Pastors and Leaders from the area who wanted to experience one of our events so they could consider hosting one at their local churches later this year. Thankfully, these Pastors and Leaders, joined Pastors Olavarria and many of their congregants in becoming members of CUFI, joining our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and giving offerings towards our CUFI On Campus efforts. Now we look forward to seeing the great Pro-Israel harvest that will grow from this significant seed-event as we plan to conduct other events in this area later this year!
