December 30 – Spanish “Why Israel?” – Austin, TX
On Wednesday, December 30th, our CUFI Field Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, conducted a “Why Israel” Hybrid Spanish event. This event was co-hosted by two of our CUFI Latino Pastors Israel Tour Alumni, Pastor Tony Castilla of Centro de Avivamiento Monte de Sion and Pastor Abraham Perez of Iglesia Reconciliacion in Austin, Texas. This hybrid event was attended in-person by at least 90 of their congregants, in addition to receiving over 550 combined views on both of their churches’ Facebook pages within two hours of the event. During the event, the attendees and viewers received our “Why Israel” Spanish presentation and were invited to become members of CUFI, make plans to attend our 2021 Washington D.C. Summit, download all of our free digital materials on our website, and also give offerings to the work of CUFI. The event was received so well that both host pastors now desire to host two additional events in 2021 (a Spanish Pastors Meeting and a Spanish Night To Honor Israel) for the Austin Latino Ministerial Association they are an integral part of. Thus, this hybrid Spanish event was very successful for Zion’s sake!
