April 22 – Bronx, NY – Why Israel Spanish
On Monday, April 22nd, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted a Spanish Why Israel event in Bronx, New York. This first-time Hispanic Outreach event in the Bronx was hosted by Presbyters and Pastors Anibal and Virginia Maldonado, who are the Principals of the Assemblies of God Spanish Eastern District Bible Institute Bronx Campus. Over 100 students, lay leaders, and ministers attended this epic event which resulted in many of them becoming members of CUFI, joining our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and giving offerings towards our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, some of them expressed interest in attending our upcoming DC Summit, and Pastors Maldonado also shared their desire to help coordinate several future CUFI events in some of the 37 churches they supervise as Presbyters of the Bronx Section of the Assemblies of God Spanish Eastern District. Thus, this historic event is already set to produce future events in this unreached area for CUFI’s Hispanic Outreach. To God be the glory!
