November 20 – Why Israel – Grand Rapids, MI
The Why Israel presentation went very well considering I used an interpreter for the first time in a very long time. The message was forced to be reduced to a bare bones scripture message because of the time needed for interpretation but I would say that the message was impactful and that the families that heard it were moved by it.
I must note that the turnout was actually exceptional considering that there was a birth in one of his church families and a death in the other. Eight different families were unable to come due to traditional mourning and celebratory activities. On top of all that, the first severe winter storm hadn’t dissipated at this point so for the 14 folks that did come out, it was a dangerous time to do so.
