October 17 – Night to Honor Israel
The 17th Annual Night to Honor Israel in the Quad Cites was spectacular! It was the first CUFI in-person event since March. It, like so many events in 2020, was also virtual. Over 200 people gathered to hear great encouragement from State Director Tom McGovern, The Watchman’s Erick Stakelbeck (via custom video), and the Quad City Jewish Federation. Our keynote was given by the rousing Peter De Jesus. All who attended expressed great satisfaction from the event given the pandemic; the cause drew them out. The online community has produced at least 3,000 views from scores of shares.
