Jan 31 Greenville, SC Spanish Stand with Israel
Wednesday, January 31st marked our second Spanish Standing With Israel event in the history of our Hispanic Outreach efforts in Greenville, South Carolina. This particular event was hosted at Comunidad Cristiana Internacional led by Brazilian Pastor Edson Dos Santos, who is also the Conference Leader of the Carolina States in the Southern Latin District Council of the Assemblies of God. At least 150 congregants attended this Hispanic Outreach event and their response to our CUFI vision, mission, and biblical mandate was great to say the least. Many of the attendees became CUFI members while others also joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and a good group of them gave offerings towards the work of CUFI On Campus. The receptiveness of the congregation was so great that their Pastor announced his desire to have another CUFI event later this year. We believe this is just the beginning of greater things to come for our CUFI Hispanic Outreach efforts in this city and its surrounding region!
