September 9th Downey, CA Spanish Why Israel Event
On Monday, September 9th, our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted a Spanish Why Israel event in Downey, California at Iglesia La Promesa. This event occurred during the monthly meeting of the Hispanic Ministerial Alliance of Los Angeles, and it was co-hosted by our CUFI Temple City Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Javier Rivas and our CUFI Santa Ana Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Gerson Hernandez who both went to Israel with CUFI earlier this year and last year. It was great to also have with us at this event our Los Angeles City Director Pastor Richard Escobedo. As a result of our CUFI vision, mission, and Pro-Israel biblical mandate being shared, many of the Pastors and Ministers in attendance became members of CUFI, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and gave offerings towards our CUFI On Campus efforts. This event was our last one in the Greater Los Angeles Area leading up to our upcoming Bilingual Night To Honor Israel event set for Thursday, September 26th, in Compton, CA. We look forward to that regional event which should be one of our greatest events this year!
