September 5th San Antonio, TX Night to Honor Israel

On Thursday, September 5th, our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife Rev. Mildred De Jesus, who is CUFI’s Daughter For Zion Hispanic Director, conducted a Spanish Night To Honor Israel event in San Antonio, Texas. This 6th annual Spanish NTHI was hosted by our San Antonio Hispanic Outreach City Directors Pastors Daniel and Brenda Gonzalez of Cornerstone Iglesia. This particular event was highlighted by the heartfelt singing of the U.S. and Israel national anthems led by our CUFI Singers, wonderful Spanish Hebraic praise songs led by worship leader Alex Esparza, beautiful Hebraic dance by the Cornerstone Iglesia Dance Team, and special remarks shared by the General Manager of the La Nuestra 1130AM radio station Saul Hernandez and Associate Rabbi Avraham Scheinberg of Congregation Rodfei Sholom. This night was climaxed by the two compelling keynote addresses delivered by CUFI’s Rabbinical Advisor Rabbi Aryeh Scheinberg and CUFI Action Fund’s Chairwoman Sandy Hagee Parker. It was an extra blessing to also have present in our event our Kyle Hispanic Outreach City Directors Pastors Refugio and Lupe Arredondo and our Austin Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Marco Antonio Castilla who were both accompanied by others Pastors from their respective cities. As a result of this amazing event, many congregants added action to their faith as they became members of CUFI, gave offerings towards the work of CUFI On Campus, and are now considering attending our 2020 DC Summit. Thus, this event was one of our greatest Spanish NTHI events this year!
