September 23 – Bilingual Why Israel?
On Wednesday, September 23rd, our CUFI Field Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, conducted a “Why Israel” bilingual virtual event. This event was hosted by one of our CUFI Congressional Liaison’s and Latino Pastors Israel Tour Alumni, Pastor Alberto Gonzalez of Templo Betania Assembly of God church in Fremont, California. The event was attended by 30 of Pastor Gonzalez’s congregants via a private Zoom meeting, during their midweek virtual church service. Additionally, this event was also viewed on their church’s Facebook page by over 680 people within 24 hours of the event. During the event, the attendees received our “Why Israel” bilingual presentation and were invited to become members of CUFI, make plans to attend our Washington D.C. Summit, download our free digital materials on our website, and give offerings to the work of CUFI. Overall, this bilingual event was successful for Zion’s sake.
