Iran’s Supreme Leader claims there is ‘some evidence’ that coronavirus outbreak is in fact a bio-attack

An allegation of human involvement behind the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic sparked a Twitter feud Friday between Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei and US State Secretary Mike Pompeo.

Praising the Iranian military for taking on the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, Khamenei’s handle said its actions could also be seen as a biological defense exercise as there is “some evidence” that the outbreak could be “#BiologicalAttack.”

Pompeo pushed back, scolding Khamenei for not having exercised some transparency in informing the Iranians on the outbreak and halting the flights from China.
