October 25 Kenosha, Wisconsin Bilingual Stand With Israel
CUFI’s first-ever Bilingual Standing With Israel event in Kenosha, Wisconsin occurred on Wednesday night, October 25, 2017. This historic event was hosted by Pastor Obed Pena, Jr. of Centro Cristiano Kenosha and resulted due to the recommendation of our newly appointed Milwaukee, WI Hispanic Outreach City Director, Pastor Ilder Hidalgo. Our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, shared a bilingual presentation in English and Spanish, and the congregation of Centro Cristiano Kenosha responded very well as many of them became CUFI members, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and gave an offering towards our CUFI On Campus work. What also made this night extra special was the fact that Christian and Jewish CUFI members from other cities in the region attended. This was undoubtedly an epic event for our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach!
