October 23 – Night to Honor Israel – Douglasville, GA
The night began with the singing of the national anthems of Israel and the US. There was then a music medley of traditional Hebrew songs followed by the opening welcome and recognition of guests by Pastor Dave Divine, the lead pastor at Chapelhill Church. Deputy Consul General was the first speaker and following his remarks, there was a Holocaust remembrance moment. That was followed by the offering ask and while the offering was being collected, the Chapelhill Church Youth Choir sang a song in Hebrew. Kasim Hafeez was then introduced and that was the closing of the evening. There was a beautiful reception in the youth auditorium at the close of the evening.
