November 14 – Spanish Pastors’ Meeting – Tampa, FL
On Saturday, November 14th, our CUFI Field Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, conducted a Spanish Pastors Meeting Dinner in Tampa, Florida. This event was co-hosted by one of our 2019 November Latino Pastors Israel Tour Alumni Pastor Dr. Gerardo Abdala and our former Tampa Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Jesus Fernández of La Casa del Alfarero Church of God. Approximately 20 Pastors and Ministers from the area were in attendance, in addition to over 170 pastors, ministers, and congregants who viewed this event on Facebook within 24 hours. During this event, the in-person and Facebook audience received our “Why Israel” Spanish presentation and were invited to become members of CUFI, make plans to attend our 2021 Washington D.C. Summit, download all of our free digital materials on our website, and also give offerings to the work of CUFI. It was great to hear Pastor Fernández and Pastor Abdala share their desire to co-host a Night To Honor Israel for their region in 2021. This event was a success for the cause of Israel and the Jewish people.
