May 22 – Spanish Why Israel?
On Friday, May 22nd, in celebration of Jerusalem Day and in continued celebration of Israel’s 72 anniversary, our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus, and his wife, Rev. Mildred De Jesus, teamed up to conduct Part 2 of our Spanish Why Israel virtual series. This virtual event was broadcasted on our CUFI Spanish Facebook page (@CUFIespanol) and shared on multiple other pages. Within two hours of the event’s conclusion, over 930 viewers saw it from 6 U.S. States (Colorado, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin) and 7 Latin American Countries (Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela). In addition to continuing to learn “Why Israel” should be of utmost importance for Christians, the viewers were encouraged to become CUFI members, register for next month’s Virtual Summit and Daughters For Zion Prayer Conference, download free Spanish digital materials from our website, and give online to the work of CUFI. Next, we will have a concluding Part 3 presentation for this virtual series on Wednesday, May 27th.
