May 1st San Antonio, TX Spanish Why Israel
On Wednesday, May 1st, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted a “Why Israel” Spanish-speaking event in San Antonio, Texas. This event was hosted by our CUFI San Antonio Hispanic Outreach City Directors, Pastors Daniel and Brenda Gonzalez of Cornerstone Iglesia, which is the Spanish congregation of Cornerstone Church founded by our CUFI Founder and Chairman, Pastor John Hagee. Over 120 congregants attended this great event that was highlighted with great Jewish-styled worship music, excellent Davidic dance, and an introductory CUFI presentation that served as Part 1 of a month-long bible study teaching series on understanding why Israel is of utmost importance to the Church and what the Church can do to love, support, and stand with Israel now more than ever before. Its worth noting and celebrating that Pastors Daniel and Brenda Gonzalez will dedicate their next four Wednesday Bible Studies to further educating their congregation about the nation and people of Israel so their gentile Christian congregants can be even more effective in advocating for Israel and the Jewish people. This is definitely a great example that all churches in our nation and around the world should follow!
