May 15 – Why Israel – Washington DC
Ebenezer Eritrean Church is an immigrant church from Eritrea. The senior pastor Pr. Gothiom Gerbreyohannes was one of the trip pastors in our Israel trip this past February. He asked to be the first to do the Why Israel event in DC in the post trip time. He has been pro-Israel for a long time before he heard about CUFI. He enthusiastically thanked CUF for giving him the opportunity to go to Israel for the first time in his life.
I presented the Why Israel CUFI message, and the church received the message happily and they filled out the CUFI Israel Pledge cards. There were also college students who heard the message for the first time. They were very receptive. Asked questions and wants to get involved.
