May 1 – Why Israel – Los Angeles, CA
The church is in the Filipino Historical District of Los Angeles, CA. There are more than 4 million Filipino Americans in the U.S., and a great number of churches are strategically located in the largest cities of the nation. I always remind the Filipino Christian community that the Philippines, their country of origin, was the only country in Asia that voted in favor of the UN Resolution 181 in 1947 that led to the establishment of Israel as a nation, and that it is righteous and spiritually favorable in God’s eyes for Filipino Americans and the Philippines to remain a strong ally of Israel and friend of the Jewish people.
