March 13 – Why Israel – San Diego, CA
Asian Outreach Coordinator, Pastor Herman Martir led his first event. Pastor Jon Mejica, Pastor Arnel Aquino, and Pastor Ray Ann Dela Fuente were all part of the 2020 Diversity Israel Mission, CUFI’s first all-Asian Holy Land tour. Because of ongoing COVID restrictions, only 25% of the building capacity was allowed. So, the pastors focused on bringing their leaders. There was much excitement about the work of CUFI as well as shock regarding the historic antisemitism of the Church.
