Liberia, Africa Night to Honor Israel

Friends & Lovers of Israel,

Shalom!

The Liberia Night to Honor Israel was a great success! God blessed it mightily! Over a thousand people were in attendance, coming from as far as Nimba, Margibi and Grand Bassa counties. We would have had thousands, were we able to provide transportation for many more who wanted to attend!

A lot of pastors, spiritual fathers & mothers of Liberia were also in attendance, including Apostle Sam & Pastor Nyamah Carr, Rev. Ben Cooper, Pastor Simeon Dunbar, Rev. Counselor Amos Fagans, Bishop George Harris, Bishop Alan Klayee, Rev. Abenda & Pastor Comfort Tamba, Rev. Luther Tarpeh, Bishop Nathaniel & Dr. Martha Zarway, to mention a few.

The Voice of Tabernacle Choir provided the music. They were awesome! They were assisted by Inspiring Singers Male Chorus. Dr. Francis Tabla served as Keynote Speaker on behalf of Rev. George Wonlon, Christian United for Israel’s Minnesota African Pastors Director, whose flight delayed in getting to Liberia.

Pilgrim Lic. Zelda Russell presented Certificates of pilgrimage to the Pilgrims from Liberia, on behalf of the Mayor of Jerusalem and the Israeli Minister of Interior. Pilgrims certificated included: Daniel Anderson, Apostle Sam Carr, Counselor Robert Gbarbea, Tebeh Glay, Pastor Paul Konton, Pastor William Sumo, and Apostle Patrick Sarplah Toh.

Pilgrim Rev. Stephen Cole installed Pilgrim Apostle Samuel M. Kollie, Jr. as Executive Director of African Christians United for Israel-Liberia, with his team of officers. Apostle Kollie accepted the call and challenge with great enthusiasm, and commended his staff and regional coordinators for the work put into the success of the program.

The President of Liberia was deputized by his Religious Adviser Rev. Emmanuel Nimley, while former Vice President of Liberia Ambassador Joseph Boakai was deputized by his son & daughter-in-law, Dr. Emmanuel & Mrs. Louise Tamba. Pilgrim Apostle Sam Carr brought remarks on behalf of the Liberia Fellowship of Full Gospel Ministers and Ministries, while Bishop George Harris prayed for Israel and the Peace of Jerusalem

The Liberians were very receptive to the message of standing in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people, considering our rich Spiritual & Biblical heritage as well as long standing Historical ties, as reiterated by Dr. Tabla. The program was hosted at Greater Refuge Cathedral in Oldest Congotown, where Bishop Nathaniel & Rev. Dr. Martha Zarway are the esteemed Pastors. Bishop Zarway earlier welcomed all of us to the event, citing that it was a privilege to host the event at Greater Refuge. We couldn’t thank them enough!

The program was carried live on Facebook & Hope FM 100.7 AG Radio Station, that has a very large audience in Liberia! We have few photos below for your viewing.

Thanks for your prayers.
