June 26 – Why Israel – Dalton, GA
Pastor John Paul Burdashaw, Executive Pastor at Crosspointe and 2022 Israel Trip Alumni from Coordinator Bob Scott’s trip, held a Why Israel event at the church along with Lead Pastor Stan Lester. Out of the event several new members signed up to be a part of CUFI. After the event I was introduced to Andrew Wein, whose father fought in Israel’s war of independence. Also learned during the event that the church is doing a series based on movies, which one of the sermons being based on Schindler’s List. Included in the recap is a picture of the display including pictures from the Holocaust in the church lobby promoting the message as well as our CUFI Why Israel event.
