July 12 Phoenix, AZ Spanish Pastor’s Luncheon

On Thursday afternoon, July 12th, in Phoenix, Arizona, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach conducted our first-ever Bilingual Pastors & Leaders Luncheon Briefing at the annual District Council of the Assemblies of God Southwest District. This historic event was co-hosted by District Superintendent Rev. Emilio De La Cruz and Secretary-Treasurer Rev. Lorenzo Martinez, who is an alumni of our Hispanic Pastors Israel Trip from this past March. At least 102 Pastors and Leaders attended this briefing and received a riveting pro-Israel CUFI message from our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus. As a result of these ministers being so receptive to the biblical, historical, and contemporary pro-Israel message they received, many of them became CUFI members and some also invited Rev. De Jesus to come to their local churches within the next year for additional CUFI events. One of the highlights of this luncheon was the moment when District Superintendent Rev. De La Cruz publicly announced that he desires for their Southwest District to do more with CUFI and stand with Israel now more than ever before. Thus, this epic event was extremely effective for the cause of Israel!
