January 12 – Why Israel – Deming, NM
We did a “Why Israel” event in Deming, NM. The pastor, his staff, and the congregation were most gracious and welcoming. Being that it also was their youth night they brought their youth to the event. Once again, Cherith Runyon hit the mark regarding her presentation of CUFI ON CAMPUS. So grateful she was able to attend and speak. We had a number of pledge cards filled out. Highlight for me was both the pastor and the youth pastor having asked the youth if they got anything from the meeting. Both pastors noted that the response from the youth was, “we didn’t know any of those things”. The pastor then shared some very encouraging words when he said, “If you are wondering if you had any impact you certainly did”.
