Feb. 11 Houston, TX CUFI Dinner
Bishop Musa Korfeh is an African pastor who will be traveling to Israel with CUFI African Outreach Coordinator, Dr. Francis Tabla. This Dinner was the second of two events (Why Israel 2.10.2019). We discussed Dr. King’s pro-Israel legacy including his correspondence with former Israeli Prime Minister Ben Gurion, and his meeting with the Rabbinical Assembly shortly before his death. There was also a detailed discussion about the role of the UN and how Israel’s enemies have used African nations as pawns as they coerce votes against the Jewish State. All of this was used to emphasize the importance for Black/African Christians to join CUFI and make pro-Israel voices heard on Capitol Hill.
