December 16 – Spanish “Why Israel?” – Detroit, MI
On Wednesday, December 16th, our CUFI Field Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, conducted a “Why Israel” virtual Spanish event. This event was hosted by one of our CUFI Latino Pastors Israel Tour Alumni, Pastor Oliver Lora of Iglesia Cristiana La Roca Eterna in Detroit, Michigan. The event received over 660 views on his church’s Facebook page within two days of the event, not including additional views on his church’s YouTube channel. During this event, the viewers received our “Why Israel” Spanish presentation and were invited to become members of CUFI, make plans to attend our 2021 Washington D.C. Summit, download all of our free digital materials on our website, and also give offerings to the work of CUFI. The event went so well that Pastor Lora requested we conduct another event in 2021 for the network of Pastors he oversees in the Detroit Section of the Midwest Latin American District of the Assemblies of God. Needless to say, it was a great virtual Spanish event for the cause of Israel and the Jewish people.
