Blinken condemned both terror attacks, retaliatory acts of violence upon landing
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned both the two Palestinian terror attacks in Jerusalem and condemned retaliatory acts of violence as he landed in Jerusalem Monday afternoon amid rising tensions.
“It is the responsibility of everyone to take steps to calm tension rather than inflame them, to work toward a day when people no longer feel afraid in their communities, in their homes in their places of worship,”

He called on both Israelis and Palestinians to take steps to restore calm as he spoke briefly on the tarmac at Ben Gurion International Airport before heading to a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
