August 24 – Why Israel?
On Monday, August 24th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, conducted a “Why Israel” virtual event on Zoom with a closed group of ministry leaders. It was hosted by our Rosemead, California Hispanic Outreach City Director, Rev. Elias Flores, Jr., for twelve of his ministry leaders in Rosemead, California and other states in our nation including Colorado, Illinois, and Texas. Our leadership audience on Zoom received Part One of our profound “Why Israel” presentation, along with approximately 25 minutes of very inquisitive and insightful Q & A and an invitation for them to become CUFI members, access our free digital resources on our website, and give online to CUFI’s pro-Israel work. The event went so well that a Part Two virtual event was requested for the following Monday, August 31st, at which the twelve ministry leaders plan on having their colleagues join us. Needless to say, we had a successful virtual event and believe its sequel will be even more successful for Zion’s sake.
