August 21 – Why Israel – Chicago, IL
The founding pastor of the church, who pioneered other Filipino American churches in Illinois, was there in attendance. Filipino Americans is the largest Asian American group in Illinois. Many of them are Christians and if educated, motivated, and activated to support the mission of CUFI, they can help reach other churches in this region. After the presentation the host pastor announced to the congregation that their church will donate monthly to CUFI. He told me that he is willing to do whatever he can to promote CUFI and help me reach other Asian Pacific Americans.
