August 10th Lubbock, TX Bilingual Why Israel Event

On Saturday, August 10th, our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife, Rev. Mildred De Jesus who is the CUFI Daughters For Zion Prayer Network Hispanic Outreach Director, conducted our first-ever Bilingual Why Israel event in the city of Lubbock, Texas. This historic event was hosted by Pastors Raymond and Hilda Almaraz of Emmanuel Worship Center, who went to Israel earlier this year on our Latino Pastors Israel Tour. Desiring to go the extra mile for the cause of Israel and this epic event, Pastors Almaraz invited several Pastors and Leaders from the region to this night and even financed a dinner for this special occasion. As a result, pastors, leaders, and congregants from at least four churches attended this event and many of them became CUFI members, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and gave a special offering towards our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, it was wonderful to receive the acceptance from Pastors Almaraz to become our Hispanic Outreach City Directors for the city of Lubbock. Now they are already planning to host a Pastors Meeting Dinner for their city and surrounding area in the near future.
