April 8 – Pastors’ Meeting – Anchorage, AK

This “Taste of Israel” event was originally scheduled to be held in our home for the Matanuska-Susitna area Valley Pastors group. But due to snow load at our home, it was moved it to Anchorage. We had 16 total in attendance. Alice’s menu was the hit of the evening, it included a wonderful Israeli dinner complete with falafel, Israeli salad, delicious hummus and even my favorite, sufganiyot!

After our dinner and presentation we were happy to welcome 4 new members to CUFI. While we had only 2 members of the Valley pastors group in attendance, one of those signed the CUFI Israel pledge for the first time. We also had three pastors from our Hispanic pastors group who brought a new pastor who also signed the Israel pledge for the first time. Plus an Anchorage area Assemblies of God pastor and his wife who were new to all things CUFI. They both also signed the Israel pledge for the first time as well! We are believing for open doors to share in
these new congregations from this enriching gathering!
