April 20 – Taste of Israel – Anchorage, AK
Special thanks to Congressional Liaison, Church of God Pastor Moyce Polanco for his help connecting with the Anchorage area Church Of God Pastors group. There were 17 in attendance. The “Taste of Israel” evening featured, falafel, Israeli Salad, hummus, and the very popular sufganiyot! Since the evening featured specialty Israeli foods, we kicked off the evening with the Israel Collective video: “Mahane Yehuda Market,” which set a great tone for the rest of the night’s discovery of all things CUFI and Israel! Some pastors expressed interest in attending our DC Summit. Pastor Polanco joined me to share exactly what participants could expect when they attend. Additionally we highlighted the Israel Course as well. After our presentation we had a great time of Q and A. I was heartened to receive invitations for follow up!
