April 20 – Steamboat Springs, CO – Why Israel Spanish
Over the course of Passover weekend, on Saturday, April 20th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife Rev. Mildred De Jesus, who is our Daughters For Zion National Hispanic Outreach Director, conducted a Spanish Why Israel event in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This event was hosted by our Steamboat Springs Hispanic Outreach City Directors Pastors Gerardo and Yolanda Gamero of Casa De Dios El Buen Pastor. As a result of their congregation receiving CUFI’s vision, mission, and biblical mandate to stand in solidarity with Israel, many of their congregants became CUFI members, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and gave offerings to our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, Pastors Gamero informed us that they are now planning on attending our DC Summit in July. And to top things off, they also let us know that they would be introducing us to other Pastors they know in Denver and other cities so we could expand our Hispanic Outreach to those churches as well. Therefore, we look forward to even greater things that will come forth from this great event!
