April 2 – Israel Is – The Colony, TX
This is the first Cambodian church that has hosted a CUFI event. The pastor shared with me that Cambodians can relate to the Jewish people and the Holocaust. Cambodians themselves were victims of genocide. In 1975-1979 about 2 million of them were slaughtered by the Khmer Rouge Communist regime. Many were scattered to other nations to escape the persecution. The Pastor thanked me for educating him and his church about the biblical mandate for Christians to support Israel and the Jewish people. He wants to connect me with other Cambodian pastors and churches all over the U.S. to share with them the mission of CUFI.
