February 7 – Why Israel? – Westbrook, ME
Pastor Eric Samuelson of The Rock Church/Scarborough and Pastor Mutima/Bethel Christian Church were both CUFI Israel Trip Alumni pastors. They hosted a Friday night “Why Israel?” event to help introduce the work of CUFI to both of their very diverse church congregations. Many of their church leaders were in attendance and from the prolonged time of fellowship following the event, most of what they learned in the CUFI/Why Israel message was all new to them. It was received with transparent appreciation and amazement. Both pastors are hoping to grow the work of CUFI more deeply into their congregations and community.
