Rev. Anthony Senge and Rev. Julius Oghogho were part of the spring 2019 Diversity Israel Tour. Rev. Edwin Miller was part of the fall 2019 Diversity (Black Pastors) Israel Tour. Rev. Kwaku Owusu Boachie was part of the 2018 African Pastors Israel Tour led by African Outreach Coordinator, Dr. Francis Tabla. These pastor are part of an African Pastors team in the Philadelphia/Delaware area, and helped plan the first annual African Night to Honor Israel. This night happened to be the one-year anniversary of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh. Rabbi Aaron Gaber of Congregation Brothers of Israel was one of the guest speakers, and gave the benediction. The audience heard about the ancient Africa-Israel relationship, Israel’s consistent support of Africa, and the need for African Christians to stand in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people. The evening was filled with excitement, dancing, music, and wonderful fellowship. The date for the 2020 African NTHI in Philadelphia is set for Sunday October 18.
