Pastor Scott Thomas wanted his diverse congregation to hear of Israel’s multi-ethnic society. We shared the Jewish “Redemption” as they return to Israel from the four corners of the earth. Saw “Rachel’s Story” from the Mizrahi Project, and discussed both the beauty and the challenge millions of people from various lands all converging on tiny Israel. The lecture ended with an introduction Dr. King’s pro-Israel stance, and the Israel-Africa alliance which was continued the next day (Monday January 21).
