Weekly Reflection – Hope for the Faithful
“In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
— PSALM 16:11
David declares that our Redeemer has completed the work He was assigned, and He ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He sits to this day (Psalm 16:8). Christ’s work of atonement, position, and power are declared in His resurrection (Romans 1:4, 6:2; Timothy 1: 10; 1 Peter 2:18).
Now we, like David, look to the future with hope for Christ broke the power of death, hell, and the grave and introduced the promise of eternal life to all who receive Him as Savior and Lord (John 6:40; Isaiah 53:1-12; John 14:1-3; Acts 2:25-28). And in our relationship with God, we find fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.
Our future hope has implications right now, today—we can trust God to protect us and provide for all our needs! Today, let’s intercede for His People, Israel, and ask for His protection and provision for the Jewish state during this critical time in her history.
