CUFI Statment on Rep. Omars’ comments
“Rep. Omar’s repeated use of anti-Semitic rhetoric is shameful and offensive. If she feels compelled to explain American support for Israel, she might consider the two countries’ shared values and the millions of Americans who believe supporting the Jewish state is a religious and moral imperative. Better yet, Rep. Omar may want to consider debating the merits of American policy rather than resorting to emojis and anti-Semitic dog whistles.” – CUFI co-executive director Shari Dollinger.
