CUFI Leaders Express Support for Joint US-Israeli Operation

 

WASHINGTON – The leadership of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, issued the following statements in reaction to the news that the United States and Israel had launched an offensive aimed at regime change through domestic revolution in Iran.

 

“For two decades we have said that the regime in Iran must go at the hands of its people with the aid and support of the free world; today those who stand at the vanguard of freedom are giving the Iranian people the means to take their country back,” said CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee.

 

“There are only two sides in the conflict with the regime in Tehran, you’re either with the Mullahs or the people; the United States and Israel are on the right side of making history,” said CUFI Action Fund Chairwoman Sandra Hagee Parker.

 

Responding to criticism of the operation, Parker added, “The isolationists and capitulationists remain consistently wrong about the Middle East. The same voices that brought us to this point by subjugating American interests to Iranian fantasies – and predicted worldwide calamity following Israel’s Operation Rising Lion – are now condemning efforts to end the regime’s malign activities; those voices should be treated as irrelevant noise, nothing more.”
