Christians United for Israel Reaches Two Million Members

Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization,announced Thursday that the group had surpassed the two million member mark.This news comes just over two-and-a-half years after the group reached one million members.

“We’ve come along way since we began CUFI with 400 Christian leaders back in 2006. And I can say without hesitation that while reaching two million members is no small accomplishment, we’ve only just begun. We will continue to grow and to speak out with an ever-louder voice for Zion’s sake.” said CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee.

“This milestone demonstrates not only the massive scale of Christian support for Israel, but also the fact that this support has become an increasing priority for the Christian community. Recent events – from the rise of ISIS to today’s tragic shooting in Paris – have clarified for all what we’ve been saying for years – militant Islam is a threat not only to Israel, but to all of the West. In this battle, Israel is a critical front-line ally. As more American Christians recognize this reality, they will continue to rally to Israel’s side through CUFI,” said CUFI executive director David Brog.

In addition to growing in sheer size, CUFI boasts an exceptional list of accomplishments. Since its founding, CUFI has driven hundreds of thousands of emails to government officials, held 2,162 pro-Israel events in cities and towns across the country, garnered more than 1.2 million Facebook fans, brought 304 leading pastors to Israel on 12 Pastors Leadership Tours, has trained more than 2,500 students on how best to stand with Israel, presently has recognized college chapters on 140 campuses as well as an active presence at an additional 163 universities, and holds an annual summit in Washington attended by more than 4,500 pro-Israel activists.
