2020 CUFI Summit to be Held Virtually
April 26, 2020 SAN ANTONIO – Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, announced that the 2020 CUFI Washington Summit will be held virtually. The announcement comes on the heels of the Washington Convention Center communicating to CUFI that the event, scheduled for June 28-30, cannot be held at that location due to efforts to utilize the Convention Center to combat the coronavirus.
The CUFI Virtual Summit will be held on the same dates as originally scheduled: June 28th through the 30th.
“We have said from the very beginning of this pandemic that the safety and well-being of our members, staff, and the community at large is our top priority. By holding our Summit virtually, we will ensure the health and safety of all participants, and still ensure our members hear directly from top leaders and experts on the issues that matter to CUFI,” said CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee.
“Like the rest of the country, we must adapt to the present circumstances while still moving forward. This virtual Summit is unprecedented, but we are up to the challenge. I have every confidence that this will be our finest hour and that we will still be able to deliver our strong, unwavering pro-Israel message to our elected officials,” Hagee added.
“Nothing can replace bringing thousands of Christian supporters of Israel to our nation’s Capital, but we can come very close. In the coming days we’ll be releasing the schedule of our virtual Summit, concluding, as always, with a digital advocacy effort aimed at advancing specific pro-Israel policies,” said CUFI co-Executive Director Shari Dollinger.
With more than 8 million members, Christians United for Israel is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States and one of the leading Christian grassroots movements in the world. CUFI spans all fifty states and reaches millions with its educational message.
