Keith Butler is the founder and president of Keith Butler Ministries, ministering throughout the world. Keith Butler is also the founder and senior pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Center, located on 110 pristine acres in Southfield, Michigan in the United States; Word of Faith was founded in 1979 and currently has 11,000 members.

In 1989, he founded the Word of Faith School of Ministry, today called PISTIS for the purpose of training ministers. PISTIS has graduated over 1,000 ministers who are now serving in various ministries, domestically and internationally. Additionally, he is the founder of faithleaders.com, sharing the wisdom of God with pastors, ministers and those called to the ministry.
In 1989, he was elected by the people of Detroit to its City Council. Elected in a city-wide vote to the nine-member Council, Keith Butler served for four years before receiving an assignment from the Lord to plant churches. Today, churches have been planted in the U.S.A., Europe, and Africa.
Keith Butler has authored over 30 books. Some of his titles include The Authority of the Believer, Faith for Life, Mercy Comes Before Grace, The Way of Faith, Praying At A Higher Level, How to Handle Pressure With Skill, The Time Clock of Man, Entering Into God’s Rest for You, Everything Happens for a Reason, 365-day devotional, Fresh Water, and Church Planting-8 Key Principles for Success.

Keith Butler was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1974. He received his diploma from RHEMA Bible School located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He earned his Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan, and has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He enjoys the support of his lovely wife, Pastor Deborah L. Butler, and their children: Pastor Andre & Minister Tiffany Butler (granddaughters Alexis, Angela & April); Pastors Lee & MiChelle Ferguson (grandson Lucas); and Pastor Joel and Minister Kristina Jenkins (grandsons Andrew and Austin).
