Pence pledges to move US embassy to Jerusalem
US Vice President Mike Pence pledged on Monday to keep President Donald Trump’s promise to relocate the embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the Times of Israel reported.
Addressing a crowd of American Christian supporters of Israel Monday evening, Pence affirmed that Trump would keep his promise and remains committed to Israel’s security.
“To the men and women of Christians United for Israel, this president hears you,” Pence said at the annual Christians United for Israel conference in Washington. “This President stands with you. And I promise you that the day will come when President Donald Trump moves the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It is not a question of if, it is only when.”
