The Capture and Trial of Adolf Eichmann
The Capture and Trial of Adolf Eichmann
After World War II, thousands of Nazis fled Europe and assumed new identities in different countries to evade the consequences of their crimes. One man in particular, Adolf Eichmann, who was depicted by other Nazis as the Holocaust’s “head butcher” and the murderous mastermind behind the isolation of Jews into ghettos and their torture in concentration camps, disappeared, his location unknown.
But in 1957, the Mossad received a report that he was living in Argentina. The Mossad leapt quickly and quietly into action, and the chase began.
The man had to be brought to justice, and he had to be brought to justice in Israel.
