Nov 2 Indianapolis, IN Bilingual Pastor’s Lunch
On Friday, November 2nd, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife Rev. Mildred De Jesus teamed up to conduct an epic Bilingual Pastors and Leaders Luncheon Briefing in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Assemblies of God Midwest Latin American District Youth Convention. This first-time ministers event in Indianapolis, Indiana was co-hosted by District Youth Director Rev. Juan Murillo and District Secretary-Treasurer Rev. Todd Clair who went to Israel on our CUFI Hispanic Outreach Israel Trip earlier this year. Approximately 115 Pastors and Leaders ranging from ages 18 to 50 representing 35 churches in the U.S. Midwest Region attended this historic event. We were also blessed to have the Assemblies of God National Youth Director and some of the MLAD District Officials present. As a result, some of the attendees became CUFI members, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and also gave offerings towards our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, many of them were very interested in having their college and university students apply for our CUFI On Campus Scholarships for our 2019 Washington DC Summit. Lastly, one of the Pastors from Elkhart, Indiana was so impacted by our briefing that he has already scheduled to host a CUFI event with his congregation on Friday, April 26, 2019. Thus, this epic event was a great success!
