August 30th Reseda, CA Bilingual Why Israel
On Friday, August 30th, our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife Rev. Mildred De Jesus, who is CUFI’s Daughter For Zion Hispanic Outreach Director, conducted a Why Israel bilingual event in Reseda, California. This event was hosted by our Reseda Hispanic Outreach City Directors Pastors Guadalupe and Lupita Navar of Iglesia Poder De Dios Church. In addition to having many of their congregants attend this event, it was an extra blessing to have a few members of the Jewish community in the surrounding area also attend this event. We were also blessed to know that two of our CUFI members who live in Central California traveled four hours in order to also join this great gathering. As a result of Peter and Mildred sharing our bilingual CUFI Pro-Israel biblical mandate presentation, it was great to see members of Pastors Navar congregation add action to their faith as they became members of CUFI, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and also gave offerings towards the work of CUFI On Campus. Additionally, it was great to receive confirmation that Pastors Navar and many of their congregants will be attending our upcoming Greater Los Angeles Bilingual Night To Honor Israel set to occur on Thursday, September 26th in Compton, California. Thus, this event was quite successful in more ways than one!
